I’m a speaker, author and talk show host working in Maine and New Hampshire. I love to hear and to tell stories.
I often speak to the challenges of transgender identity and expression. But my passion is sharing stories of people and how they cope with trauma related mental health issues.
I travel the country, delivering educational and motivational speeches. I use my own tragedy-turned-triumph to highlight resilience.
The sociology degree I earned at the University of Southern Maine helped me look at my life from a wider angle. But the grittier learning from the guests on my talk show allows me to see my life in focus.
I am more than a statistic. I am more than a tough story. My dignity is inherent in my capacity to relate to others around me. I am integral to reflect the value of diversity in this world.
And so are you.
